Techno India University proudly celebrated the remarkable achievement of its alumna Juhi Das (B.Tech ECE, 2021 Batch), who secured Rank 649 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. Her accomplishment brought immense pride to the university community and stood as a testament to the determination, perseverance, and excellence that students of TIU continue to embody.
To honour her achievement, Techno India University organized a felicitation ceremony celebrating her inspiring journey from being an ECE student to achieving success in the prestigious civil services examination. The event marked a proud moment for the entire TIU community and highlighted the institution’s role in nurturing ambition, leadership, and perseverance among its students.

An engaging interactive session between Juhi Das and Prof. Dr. Sujoy Biswas, Registrar, TIU and CEO, Techno India Group, was held during the event, where Juhi shared insights into her UPSC preparation journey. She spoke about the challenges she faced, the discipline required during preparation, and the personal struggles that shaped her path to success.
Sharing her experience, Juhi Das said: “I still remember the moment when I saw my name – Juhi Das… on the list. I was overwhelmed with emotions after years of hard work, failures, and many ups and downs. I immediately went to a temple to thank God for finally helping me sail through the journey.
Women empowerment has always been a strong motivation for me. Watching my mother’s strength inspired me to believe that if I ever had the power, I would use it to empower others, especially women.
The UPSC examination demands immense discipline and endurance. In the written exam, you must write two pages in seven minutes and complete around 110 pages in six hours. That level of speed and focus is essential.
There were moments when I wanted to stop, but my sister encouraged me by saying, ‘Didi, one last time,’ which gave me the strength to try again… To anyone aspiring for civil services, I would say: understand what the service stands for and cultivate qualities like discipline, perseverance, compassion, and empathy. At the same time, follow your passion and avoid herd mentality.
Techno India University played a significant role in shaping my journey. The guidance of the ECE faculty and the experiences I gained here helped build my confidence and determination to achieve this dream, and Ishan Sir closely observed my journey during my time at Techno India.” – Juhi Das

Juhi prepared for the Civil Services Examination with guidance from Educrat IAS, where she developed a structured preparation strategy for the highly competitive examination. Her success reflects the discipline, resilience, and commitment required to clear one of the most challenging examinations in the country.
The event also featured an enthusiastic Q&A session with students, where many aspiring candidates sought guidance from Juhi regarding civil services preparation. Students asked questions about choosing the right optional subject, preparation strategies, and managing the demanding examination schedule. Responding to the queries, Juhi emphasized that students should choose an optional subject based on their interest, conceptual clarity, and comfort with the syllabus, rather than simply following popular trends.
