Blooperhouse Studios – Techno India Group’s media house lab – has rolled out an ambitious new set of programs to let students shine as creators. On its website the studio even calls itself “Kolkata’s only homegrown local studio” that urges aspiring artists to “showcase your talent”. Building on this motto, Blooperhouse has launched three student-centric series: an audio-story unit, a performance showcase, and a documentary line. In short, the studio is saying “yes” to student ideas by offering a true 360° solution: students can pitch scripts or concepts, and the Blooperhouse team will guide the project from script to screen. As Creative Head Tuhin Saha explains, Blooperhouse has always been like “a magnetic place… [and] like a place of reunion for everyone” – now that inviting, family-like spirit is extending to the campus community.
New Student Platforms: Blooper Tales, One on One, Documentaries
Blooperhouse’s new programs give Techno India students hands-on creative opportunities — based on their selection. In “Blooper Tales”, budding writers and voice artists can create original audio stories (and even original story adaptations) that are professionally recorded. “One on One” is a mini-concert series: vocalists and musicians can approach the studio, and after selection, chosen performers get studio time and online broadcast support to record a live or produced set. Finally, a set of short documentaries (approx. 20-minute films) will explore Kolkata life – from the bustling phuchka street-cart scene to the Kumortuli Durga Puja workshops, chai-stall culture, and adda (intellectual chatter) sessions.

Blooper Tales (Audio Stories): A new audio-story series (podcast-style) featuring original scripts. Students can write or voice the episodes. Blooperhouse will handle sound production and distribution so these stories can reach a wide audience.
One on One (Music Showcase): A stage for student musicians to shine. Singers, instrumentalists, or bands can approach the studio, and based on their talent, selected performers get studio recording time or live-streamed stage sessions. Each act is backed by Blooperhouse’s full sound engineering and promotional support, ensuring students sound as professional as the seasoned artists the studio regularly works with.
Documentaries on Kolkata Culture: Short films (approx 20 minutes each) that document local life. Student filmmakers (with Blooperhouse guidance) will produce episodes like “On Phuchka Gram”, “Kumortuli” (Durga Puja sculptors), “Chai”, “Adda in Kolkata”, etc., blending campus talent with community stories.
Each initiative reflects Blooperhouse’s reputation for advanced storytelling. These student projects will be produced with that same innovative spirit, using the latest audio-visual technology. In a recent feature, the studio was even called “a movement… shaping the future of entertainment”– and now it is inviting Techno India’s campus community to join the creative revolution.
360° One-Stop Support for Creators
Blooperhouse’s biggest promise is complete, start-to-finish support for student creators. From scripting and directing to recording, editing, and final release, the studio team guides every step. The fully-equipped setup in Salt Lake’s Sector V – with professional sound systems, lighting, cameras, and editing suites – gives students hands-on experience while the crew mentors them across all aspects of media production. Whether it’s audio stories, live music sessions, or short films, Blooperhouse ensures young creators can focus on their art while the studio takes care of the technical side.
