Techno Main Students Shine at National Space Hackathon 2025

We are proud to share that four brilliant students from Techno Main Salt LakeArpan Pathak, Pabitra Nath, Sankha Singha Mahapatra, and Suman Patra—have achieved 1st place in the National Space Hackathon 2025, a prestigious competition jointly organized by ISRO and IIT Delhi.

The hackathon challenged teams across the country to come up with smart and practical solutions for real-world space problems. The competition had two rounds—an online round and a final presentation round in front of expert judges from ISRO and IIT Delhi. Our team’s idea stood out for its creativity, technical strength, and potential impact on future space missions.

As winners, the team was invited to the IIT Delhi campus for the award ceremony, which was held during the Global Space Exploration Conference (GLEX) 2025. This international event was attended by space scientists, researchers, and astronauts from around the world.

The most exciting part? The award ceremony was graced by three astronauts from three different countries:

  • Angad Pratap (India)
  • Hazzaa Al Mansoori (UAE)
  • Sirisha Bandla (USA, Virgin Galactic Unity Mission)

There was also a fascinating Q&A session where students got to ask the astronauts about their experiences and dreams in space. The inspiring interaction gave everyone a glimpse into the future of space travel.

During the ceremony, our team was called on stage and received the award from Sudeesh Balan Sir from ISRO along with the astronauts. They were awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000 for their innovative work.

This national achievement is a proud moment not just for the team but for the entire Techno India family. It shows how young minds, when guided and supported, can reach for the stars—literally!

We thank ISRO and IIT Delhi for giving our students this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Congratulations to the winning team—you’ve made us all proud!
