On January 19, 2025, the Physiotherapy students of Techno India University went beyond the classroom and participated in an exciting Marathon organized by The BRC Club. This event was designed to promote physical fitness, endurance, and well-being—essential qualities for aspiring physiotherapists.
The marathon was not just about completing a race; it was about embracing an active lifestyle. Students from the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programs took part with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their commitment to fitness and personal growth. As future healthcare professionals, they understand that maintaining physical well-being is just as important as treating patients.
The event saw students running together, motivating one another to push beyond their limits. The energy and spirit on display were remarkable, with participants striving to finish strong. By actively engaging in the marathon, they reinforced the idea that physiotherapists should not only prescribe exercises but also practice them.
Physiotherapists need both expertise and physical endurance to aid patient recovery. By participating in the marathon, students experienced the challenges of physical exertion first hand, enhancing their understanding of patient struggles. The event emphasized stamina, discipline, and resilience, reinforcing the importance of leading by example to inspire healthier lifestyles.
More than just a race, the marathon fostered team spirit, perseverance, and mental toughness. It allowed students to step out of their academic routine and engage in an activity that supports both physical and mental well-being. Running together created an environment of motivation and encouragement, making the event both challenging and enjoyable.
Techno India University’s physiotherapy students demonstrated their commitment to learning, fitness, and patient care by attending the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Workshop and Marathon. Their enthusiasm highlights their passion for physiotherapy and dedication to a healthy lifestyle, proving they are future leaders in health and rehabilitation. Kudos to all participants!
