Techno India Group Academia South Kolkata (TIGASK), under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. Bipasha Das, hosted a unique and memorable event combining art and health awareness. Collaborating with renowned brands Camlin and Himalaya Opticals for the first time, TIGASK organized a vibrant ‘Sit and Draw’ competition alongside a free Eye Checkup Camp. The event, held on the school premises, was a resounding success and left a lasting impression on all who attended.
The bright and sunny Saturday morning saw enthusiastic participation from around 110 students representing 8-10 schools across South Kolkata. Children aged between nine and twelve years showcased their creativity and talent in the art competition, while diligent professionals from Himalaya Opticals conducted complimentary eye checkups, promoting health awareness among the attendees.
Principal Dr. Bipasha Das emphasized that the dual-purpose event was strategically planned as a promotional activity for the upcoming launch of Classes V and VI, slated to commence in 2025. Speaking at the event, Dr. Prof. Sujoy Biswas, the esteemed Chief Guest, lauded the initiative. He commended the vision behind the event and praised the discipline and enthusiasm of the students, staff, and organizers.
