Techno India Group Public School (TIGPS) Ariadaha ,Balvatika celebrated International Mango and Yellow Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The day was a vibrant blend of creativity, fun, and learning, centered around the cheerful colour yellow and the delicious fruit, mango. Despite the cloudy weather, the festivities brightened up the school, creating a delightful experience for the juniors.
The event kicked off with a burst of yellow as students and teachers arrived in cheerful yellow outfits, transforming the school into a lively and sunny haven. The classrooms were adorned with yellow streamers and mango-themed artwork, setting the perfect stage for the day’s activities.
Our little artists engaged in fun-filled art and craft activities. They enjoyed finger painting mangoes, creating paper sunflowers, ducks, honeybees, and crafting adorable paper mangoes. These activities not only ignited their creativity but also helped develop their fine motor skills.
Storytime was a magical experience, with teachers narrating delightful tales about mangoes and summer adventures. The children were captivated by the stories, eagerly participating by asking questions and making predictions. They then brought these stories to life through role play, showcasing their imaginative and acting skills.
A highlight of the day was the mango tasting session. Our young food enthusiasts sampled different varieties of mangoes, learning about their unique flavors and textures. This session was both educational and enjoyable, as the children discovered the diverse tastes of their favorite fruit.
The day concluded with special role plays where the children presented charming performances, dressing up as yellow objects and notably as the Mango King and Queen. Their enthusiasm and joy were evident, reflecting their excitement and love for the themes of the day.
