From July 3rd to 5th, the current board members of our Rotary Interact Club conducted a series of engaging orientation sessions for students from classes 8 to 12. The primary objective of these sessions was to introduce the students to our club, familiarize them with the core principles of Rotary, and select the third batch of Rotary Interact members for the session 2024-25.
During the orientation sessions, we provided an overview of Rotary International, highlighting its motto, “Service Above Self.” We explained who we are as an Interact Club, detailing our responsibilities, achievements, and the values we uphold. By sharing our personal experiences, including successes and challenges, we aimed to give the students a comprehensive understanding of our journey and inspire them to join us in our mission.
To make the sessions more engaging and enjoyable, we incorporated interactive elements such as Q&A segments, fun games, and group activities. This approach not only kept the students interested but also encouraged active participation and fostered a sense of camaraderie among them.
The response from the students was overwhelmingly positive. They participated enthusiastically in the discussions and activities, demonstrating a keen interest in our club’s initiatives. Many students expressed their excitement about the prospect of joining the Rotary Interact Club, eager to contribute to community service and develop their leadership skills.
