Our Red Day celebration with the Pre-Primary children at TIGPS Ariadaha on Thursday, June 27, 2024, was an overwhelming success! The event was filled with vibrant activities that brought joy and learning to our tiny tots.
Activities and Highlights
The day started with fun games to help children identify red objects in their environment. They eagerly pointed out red toys, books, and decorations, enhancing their understanding and recognition of the color.
Creativity flowed in our art and craft sessions where children made red-themed crafts and spoke in detail about them. Red hues were everywhere as they painted handkerchiefs and t-shirts and created beautiful red flowers. Their works of art were displayed proudly, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Our storytelling session featured engaging tales about red objects and characters, capturing the children’s imagination. They also enjoyed singing lively songs about the color red, clapping along and participating with gusto.
One of the highlights of the event was children tasting delicious red fruits and snacks, such as strawberries, cherries, and red apples. This activity not only delighted their taste buds but also introduced them to healthy eating habits.
To culminate the celebration, we had group photos capturing the smiles and happiness of our little ones, where the kiddos proudly and happily displayed their red outfits and crafts.
Adding to the excitement, the children participated in a red-themed parade, showcasing their crafts and red attire to the cheerful applause of parents and teachers. The event also featured a red balloon release, symbolizing the joy and freedom of childhood.
The event also included a red-themed photo booth, where families could capture memorable moments together.
Our teachers played a vital role in making the day special, guiding the children through each activity with enthusiasm and care. The collaborative spirit among students, parents, and staff made the Red Day celebration truly memorable.
The Red Day celebration was not just about fun but also about fostering a sense of community and creativity among our youngest learners. It was a day of laughter, learning, and love, leaving lasting memories for all who participated.
