The International Day of Happiness celebrated every year on the 20th of March reminds us of the importance of being grateful and kind to one another. The Happiness index is in fact seen as one of the parameters of the progress and development of a nation in its true sense. On this occasion, Monoshij, a mental health platform founded by Prof. Manoshi Roy Chowdhury (Co-chairperson, Techno India Group) is hosting a Happiness Fair to spread kindness by knitting the world of segregation.

As we navigate the landscape of the modern workplace, it is very important to understand that employee wellbeing is the pillar to organizational success. Prioritization and support to the employees with respect to their physical and mental health contributes in increasing productivity and developing resilience in them. Hence, the fair aims to welcome all the corporate employees and create awareness about building workplace bliss through harmony in communication.

 The fair opens with the address by the Chief Guest Mrinal Chakraborty, Raghav Rikhiram, Meghdut Roy Chowdhury, Debojyoti Mishra and Prof Manoshi Roy Chowdury (founder of Monoshij). After the inauguration, the program was followed by a workshop on Building Workplace Bliss through harmony in communication , by the trained psychologists of Monoshij team. The session will help the participants to navigate through different difficult situations in the workplace and learn the strategies of healthy communication. Harmonious communication encourages innovation, creative thinking, and group problem-solving. It fosters a culture of trust in which people feel free to voice their opinions because they know that their viewpoints are respected and cherished.
Apart from these, there are many performances lined up for the participants of the fair. There would be soothing instrumental performances followed by a Fashion show by students of TIGPS, TMSL and TIU. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

The key attractions at the fair would be the stalls put up by TIU students where they would showcase 3D models, charts and infographics on different interesting topics on Psychology. There would also be a stall involving fun games on memory where one can drop in and get their memory tested. Apart from these, there would be a stall by students of TMSL where they would be selling herbal colours to celebrate the festival of colours. And of course, no fair is complete without its food! A wide array of delicious food would be there for all to relish.
