At ASMi Business School, Techno India University, we’ve always believed that real learning happens when students get to experience how the world truly works. That’s why we hosted a meaningful 2-day workshop on Six Sigma and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with industry professional Mainak Roy. The workshop gave our students fresh insight into problem-solving, efficiency, and how technology is reshaping the way modern businesses operate.
Throughout the workshop, students explored how Six Sigma’s structured approach to improvement blends beautifully with the intelligence and speed of AI. Instead of just reading theories, they got hands-on experience — analysing sample processes, identifying gaps, working with data, and seeing how AI tools can uncover insights that human eyes may miss.
They learned how small changes can make big differences in real organisations, and how data-driven decisions can improve quality, reduce errors, and boost productivity. The energy in the room was infectious — questions, ideas, discussions, and the genuine excitement of learning something truly meaningful.

What made this workshop special was not just the concepts taught, but the mindset it encouraged. Students began to think like future managers — curious, analytical, and ready to take on challenges. They realised that modern leadership isn’t just about making decisions but understanding systems, improving them, and embracing technology with confidence.
For ASMi B-School, this is exactly the kind of learning we want to nurture: real skills, real confidence, and real readiness for tomorrow’s business world.
The workshop was led by Mr. Mainak Roy, a dynamic professional known for blending analytical thinking with practical business insights. With experience across global work environments and a strong background in process improvement, quality systems, and operational excellence, he brings a refreshing clarity to complex concepts.
Mainak’s teaching style is hands-on and relatable. He connects ideas to real situations, encouraging students to think deeply and question the “why” behind every process. His passion for helping young minds build strong analytical foundations made the sessions not just informative, but genuinely inspiring.
The two days left a lasting impact on the students — boosting their confidence, sharpening their thought process, and preparing them for the challenges of a rapidly evolving business landscape. Workshops like these reflect ASMi’s commitment to creating learning experiences that truly matter.
At ASMi B-School, we’re not just teaching management — we’re shaping thoughtful, tech-aware, future-ready leaders.
