Graduation Day 2025: Celebrating the 2nd Batch of École Intuit Lab x TIU with Heart and Pride

On the 14th of August, the halls of Ecole were filled with joy, pride, and heartfelt emotions as the Design School of École Intuit Lab x Techno India University celebrated the graduation of its 2nd batch. This special day was not just about certificates and ceremonial gowns—it was a celebration of journeys, of dreams nurtured, of challenges overcome, and of creativity blooming under the guidance of passionate mentors.

Every student of the graduating batch poured their heart and soul into their work, showcasing not only their talent but also their resilience. One student, unable to attend in person as he is now pursuing a career in the UK, was felicitated online—a moving reminder that success knows no boundaries and the bonds created here extend far beyond the classroom.

The ceremony was made even more memorable by the inspiring words shared by mentors and leaders who have been the guiding force behind these students.

Manoshi RoyChowdhury, Co-chairperson of Techno India Group, reminded the students of the responsibility that comes with success: “It’s not you; just get the certificate and go out, and what can be done? You have a responsibility with you. The responsibility of your group, the logo, and the image which you carry wherever you go is very important. The brand you take with you wherever you excel – you have something to give to the society. Always think about whether you are seen or not; have action which shows that you are honest and work with integrity. Giving your best and giving to the society, but yes, at the same time, enjoying whatever you do – that is very important. So it’s actually not the end of college but the start of a new journey.”

Meghdut RoyChowdhury, Executive Director and Co-Director of Techno India Group, expressed his awe at the students’ creativity: “Sometimes you don’t realise that the greatest treasures are lying at home because you haven’t seen them. Here I’m looking out for talent everywhere else, and we have that kind of talent here in our own school. I’m just completely blown away and overwhelmed by what I saw today… You created a reason for people to feel something, or something in somebody, and that, my dear student, is not something that any other discipline probably allows you to do. To experience the beauty of life, to elevate the human experience itself, and that’s to give you all this incredible opportunity because you can touch life.”

Pauline Laravoire, Director of Sustainability, encouraged the graduates to cherish their journey: “It’s your journey; it’s that milestone. It’s also up to you to make it a milestone. To go to all of the people that have been supporting the process of growth for you and to keep in touch with you, a beautiful set of people surrounded all of these years. All the best for your journey ahead. You are wonderful people discovering yourself and being yourself, and I’ll see you very soon.”

Ishan Ray, Head of Academics, reflected on the growth and transformation of each student, highlighting the remarkable progress they achieved under the mentorship-driven approach of the school. “Sometimes I guess you also have to appear and show up and make sure that you meet your deadlines, just so that every ecosystem knows you are not a part of it and does not fall short. That is the responsibility that I want you guys to go ahead in your careers. keeping in mind But in college you can defer round; you can miss the deadline because people will forget you. But I’m sorry to say, but the industry is not that kind; you are working with the team, you are working with your supervisor or the creative director of the company, and you know they won’t show up, or if you don’t meet the deadline, it’s game over for you. And you know why? I’m saying it right now. By now you are interned in places. You have worked in multiple agencies and collaborated on projects, and you know right what I’m saying is true. The next few years of your life are going to be hectic, but also I wish you guys God’s pin. Your attitude and the fact that you take accountability for your actions are the most important and valuable assets for anyone you are working with”. – said Ishan.

Mark C, Internships & Placements Executive, moved the audience with a beautiful poem dedicated to the studentsa heartfelt tribute to their perseverance, creativity, and bright futures. His poem, titled “Graduates”, captured the spirit of the day, weaving emotions of nostalgia, pride, and hope into verses that deeply resonated with everyone present. It was a reminder that while this chapter ends, the story of these students is only beginning.

Ruchita Biswas, Senior Graphic Designer and mentor, spoke with affection and excitement for the future: “We are always going to be in touch because of the design industry. I know for a fact that for years to come I’m going to recommend you guys for jobs. I will probably be collaborating with you guys on projects, and yeah, I can’t wait to work with you guys. All the best, guys.”

The day was more than just a milestone—it was a story of growth, friendship, and dreams taking flight. Under the dedicated mentorship and nurturing atmosphere of École Intuit Lab x Techno India University, these students have not only learned design but have also learned how to see the world differently, with empathy, creativity, and courage.

As the graduates of the Class of 2025 step into the world, they carry with them the lessons, memories, and values instilled in them throughout their time here. This was not just a graduation day—it was a celebration of becoming, a promise of what lies ahead, and a tribute to the unbreakable spirit of design.
