Techno India University<\/a><\/strong>, l hosted Campus Flea 6.0 \u2013 Durga Puja Edition<\/strong><\/em> on September 23\u201324<\/strong>, bringing together student entrepreneurs, festive shopping and creative ventures. With the theme of celebrating Puja through shopping, food, vintage finds and quirky products, the two-day event created a lively platform for students to showcase their brands and connect with the campus community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durga Puja is a feeling that is hard to put into words. It lives in new clothes, pandal hopping, adda with friends, favourite food, spontaneous shopping and those little moments that make Puja feel special. Bringing that spirit to campus, Campus Flea 6.0 turned Techno India University into a lively space where celebration met creativity, and student ideas found a place to shine.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the spirit of Campus Flea 5.0 \u2013 Rakhi Edition<\/strong>, the sixth edition continued to provide student entrepreneurs with an opportunity to turn their ideas into practical business experiences. The Durga Puja edition featured a diverse range of stalls offering fashion, jewellery, handmade products, food, art, accessories and festive collections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together student-led brands, each reflecting a different creative idea and entrepreneurial journey. From traditional jewellery and handmade products to festive clothing, baked goods and customised gifts, the stalls added a vibrant Puja atmosphere to the campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paper Poetry<\/strong>, by Adwitiyaa Ghosh, 1st Year, BBA, TIU<\/strong>, brought a creative art-based collection to the flea. She shared, \u201cWe have created Puja-themed painted greeting cards and turned them into art that people can give to their loved ones. We prepared this stall to introduce our work and also offer canvas and watercolour artworks. Thank you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miyava<\/strong>, a fashion brand by Tanisha Gupta, 4th Year, BBA, TIU<\/strong>, showcased clothing and festive fashion pieces. Speaking about her experience, she shared, \u201cI have an e-commerce platform with an Instagram page, website and Meesho presence. I got the opportunity to showcase my brand on campus, and I\u2019m loving the crowd and the response towards my products. I\u2019m selling halter-neck fitted shirts, two-set shirts, waistcoat shirts and many more. The Durga Puja vibe is very special, as everyone is excited to shop for new clothes.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pastel Crumbs<\/strong>, by Mezhuse Kire, 4th Year, Architecture, TIU<\/strong>, brought cupcakes, chocolates and brownies to the flea. She shared, \u201cI am selling cupcakes, chocolates, brownies and many more. I would like to thank Techno for giving me the opportunity to grow my small business. Durga Puja is the best time to celebrate in Kolkata and it gives me an opportunity to showcase my talents and sell my products.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vibgyor<\/strong>, by Rupangi Sarkar, 2nd Year, M.Tech CSE, TIU<\/strong>, featured handmade products. She shared, \u201cI make handmade products. Durga Puja has always been my favourite festival as I am Bengali. Since childhood, Puja has meant fun, food, dressing up in new clothes and celebrating.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oboshor<\/strong>, by Anjistha Mallik, 2nd Year, B.Tech ECE, TIU<\/strong>, was inspired by her mother\u2019s handmade creations and her desire to turn them into a small business. She shared, \u201cOboshor is a brand inspired by the handmade products my mother used to make and gift to her friends. I started this plan to slowly transform these products into a small business, while also helping and engaging my mother. It is a surreal experience to present her products at this exhibition. A big thank you to Techno India and the wonderful audience for supporting us. It means the world to both of us.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shared, \u201cI am here with my brand The Roopkotha Jewellery for the Pujo Edit Campus Flea 6.0, and I am very happy to showcase my jewellery to all my lovely customers. I am also looking forward to the next Campus Flea. They shared, \u201cWe are presenting traditional jewellery related to Durga Pujo that represents the culture and spirit of West Bengal. We set up our stall from 23rd to 24th September and received good sales and a great response from students. We are happy to showcase our products at Techno India University.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shared, \u201cThis is my first time setting up a stall at Campus Flea 6.0, the Puja Edit. I am selling accessories and handmade candles that can be useful during Durga Puja. We received a very good response on Day 1 and are hoping for an even better result today.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moner Pochondo<\/strong>, by Pragnya Bhattacharya, 2nd Year, BBA, TIU<\/strong>, offered a variety of jewellery collections. She shared, \u201cI have everything from anti-tarnish and silver replica jewellery to the latest trending collections in the market. I have many exclusive items for Puja. Bong Crafter<\/strong>, by Agnimitra Deb, Kavya Singh and Angsula Adhikari, 1st Year, BBA, TIU<\/strong>, showcased beaded jewellery with customisation options. Agnimitra Deb shared, \u201cWe make all sorts of beaded jewellery, and we are getting a great response from people. Customers can customise pieces for their family, friends and relatives for Puja. We have many affordable options, starting from Rs. 19 up to Rs. 59.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have participated in a few stalls before and received good responses. We are thankful to Techno India University and Biryani Canteen for giving us these opportunities.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
