Kolkata, September 10, 2026:<\/strong> Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL) hosted Hack Days – TMSL Kolkata<\/strong>, powered by Major League Hacking (MLH)<\/a><\/strong> and organised by GDG On-Campus Techno Main Salt Lake<\/a> (TMSL)<\/strong>. The event brought together developers, designers, creators and technology enthusiasts for a hands-on experience centred around coding, collaboration, innovation and building impactful solutions. The event marked the first offline MLH event at Techno India Group<\/strong>, giving students an opportunity to experience an MLH-powered hackathon within the campus community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event featured industry professionals as judges, bringing valuable industry experience to the evaluation of the projects developed by participants. Ankana Chakroborty<\/a>, SDE at Microsoft<\/strong>, joined the event as a judge, while Sayantan Dey<\/a>, Full Stack Developer at TCS<\/strong>, also served on the judging panel. Their professional experience added an industry perspective to the hackathon and provided participants with an opportunity to present their ideas and projects before professionals from the technology sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the theme of \u201cCode. Collaborate. Create Impact,\u201d<\/strong> Hack Days provided participants with a platform to work in teams, develop ideas and turn them into practical projects. Participants could form teams of one to four members<\/strong> and collaborate throughout the hackathon. The event encouraged students to experiment with technology, exchange ideas and work on solutions in a collaborative environment, bringing together members of the developer and student community at TMSL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A significant highlight of the event was the collaboration with Cloudinary<\/strong>, which partnered with GDG On-Campus TMSL for the Kolkata edition. The event marked Cloudinary\u2019s first Hack Days engagement in West Bengal<\/strong>. The company also promoted the collaboration through its social media platforms, announcing that Hack Days was coming to West Bengal for the first time. The partnership brought the Hack Days experience to Kolkata while connecting the campus developer community with an established technology company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
