Chaibasa | September 2026:<\/strong> Chaibasa Engineering College<\/a><\/strong>, a part of the Techno India Group<\/strong>, inaugurated \u2018Pratham Pravesh\u2019<\/strong>, its orientation programme for the newly admitted 2026\u20132030 batch, on September 9, 2026. Around 150 students<\/strong> attended the programme, marking the beginning of their engineering journey and a 21-day induction programme designed to help them transition smoothly from school to college life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The college was honoured to host Shri Manish Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, West Singhbhum, as Chief Guest, <\/strong>and Shri Utkarsh Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner, West Singhbhum, as Guest of Honour<\/strong>. Shri Ravindra Kumar and Shri Sandeep Kumar Kesarwani of Tata Steel Foundation joined the occasion as Special Guests.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcoming the dignitaries, Principal (I\/C) Prof. Debabrata Raha<\/strong> urged the students to pursue their goals with continuous effort and to stay clear of every distraction along the way. He shared that the 21-day induction programme has been structured around a range of activities planned over the coming weeks, so that students settle into campus life while building the habits that sustain them through four years of study.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, Shri Utkarsh Kumar<\/strong> encouraged the students to make the most of their time on campus by engaging with every forum available to them – cultural clubs, the incubation setup, technical clubs and more \u2014 in order to gain the widest possible exposure during their undergraduate years.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, Shri Manish Kumar<\/strong> reminded the students that while exploring everything college has to offer, they must never lose sight of their core objective: engineering and academic excellence. He urged them to become part of the change they wish to see in society, and to keep away from unhealthy habits and addictions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being was highlighted by Shri Ravindra Kumar<\/strong>, while Shri Sandeep Kumar Kesarwani<\/strong> also shared his thoughts with the incoming students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Tanmay Das, Coordinator of the Orientation Committee<\/strong>, followed by the National Anthem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
