Kolkata | August 2026:<\/strong> Techno India University, through its School of Future<\/a><\/strong>, hosted PromptWars x Techno India University<\/strong> in collaboration with Google for Developers<\/strong> and Hack2Skill<\/strong>, bringing students together for an immersive AI-powered innovation experience focused on solving real-world problems through technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving beyond the conventional hackathon format, PromptWars introduced participants to AI-powered vibe coding<\/strong>, enabling them to transform prompts and ideas into deployable applications using Google Antigravity<\/strong>. The initiative encouraged students to combine rapid prototyping, creativity and problem-solving while exploring how artificial intelligence can address challenges faced by people in their everyday lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition featured five problem statements centred on practical societal and campus needs: Queue Without the Queue<\/strong>, aimed at improving queue management; Waterlogging & Flood-Prone Route Advisor<\/strong>, focused on safer navigation during waterlogging; Can I Actually Apply? \u2013 Opportunity Eligibility Checker<\/strong>, designed to simplify eligibility assessment for opportunities; Campus Route Optimizer<\/strong>, addressing efficient movement across campus; and Local Anomaly Detector for Personal Data<\/strong>, focused on identifying unusual patterns in personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final round was evaluated by two accomplished technology professionals. Binit Kumar Mondal<\/a><\/strong>, a Generative AI professional at Cognizant and active contributor to the GDG Kolkata community<\/strong>, brought expertise across Generative AI, LLMs, Data Science and practical AI applications, along with experience in developer education and community initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joining him was Imran Roshan<\/a><\/strong>, a Google Developer Expert for Google Cloud, Security & Operations<\/strong> and a Security Architect specialising in resilient security systems. His areas of expertise include cloud security, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, cybersecurity and Google Cloud Platform, alongside his continued engagement with developers and students through technical talks and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At PromptWars, students were encouraged to look beyond simply writing code.
