A sense of responsibility, awareness, and collective action defined the World Earth Day celebrations at Ramgarh Engineering College<\/a><\/strong> on April 22<\/strong>, where students and faculty came together to reaffirm their commitment to a greener future. Organized by the NSS Cell<\/strong> in association with the Institution\u2019s Innovation Council (IIC)<\/strong>, the event was designed not just as a celebration, but as a meaningful step toward promoting environmental consciousness and sustainable living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme commenced with an inspiring inaugural address by Principal Dr. Sharbani Roy<\/strong>, who highlighted the urgency of environmental preservation in today\u2019s world. She remarked, \u201cProtecting our environment is a necessity, and students must lead the way towards a sustainable future.\u201d<\/em> As a gesture symbolizing growth and sustainability, she was felicitated with a sapling by the NSS Coordinator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the perspective, Vice Principal Dr. Nazmul Islam<\/strong> emphasized the role of educational institutions in shaping environmentally responsible citizens. He stated, \u201cEnvironmental awareness must begin at the institutional level to inspire responsible future citizens.\u201d<\/em> NSS Coordinator Mr. Rupam Kumar Pal<\/strong> further encouraged students to integrate eco-friendly habits into their daily lives, reinforcing the idea that small actions can lead to significant change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
