This spirit was vividly reflected during\u00a0Calcutta Hacks<\/strong>, a 24-hour national-level hackathon hosted on 27 and 28 December 2025,<\/strong> which transformed the campus into a hub of creativity, collaboration, and relentless problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organized by\u00a0Google Developer Groups On Campus<\/a>, Techno India University<\/strong>\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0Apex Circle<\/a><\/strong>, Calcutta Hacks brought together passionate student developers from\u00a012 states and over 50 colleges<\/strong>\u00a0across the country. With a prize pool exceeding\u00a0USD 5,500<\/strong>, the event stood out as one of the most impactful student-driven technical initiatives hosted in Kolkata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 24 intense hours, our campus echoed with ideas being shaped into real-world solutions. Participants worked tirelessly\u2014brainstorming, coding, debugging, and refining their projects\u2014embodying the true essence of hands-on learning. The hackathon was not merely a competition; it was a celebration of innovation, teamwork, and the ever-growing technical ecosystem at Techno India University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key contributors\u2014including\u00a0Subhasish Chanda, Ritabrata Nayek, Krish Goenka, Piush Bose, Debayan Sahana, Mudit Tarway, Adarsh Gupta, Anindo Neel Dutta, Anwesha Choudhury, Ankush Paul, and Andrea Sarkar<\/strong>\u2014along with the collective efforts of all GDG On Campus TIU members, demonstrated exceptional teamwork and commitment.
