Dumka Engineering College<\/a> has achieved a remarkable milestone at the prestigious Idea Tribe 2025 Innovation Competition organized by the Jharkhand University of Technology<\/a> (JUT), Ranchi. <\/strong>The multi-stage event\u2014designed to promote creativity, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation among students across Jharkhand\u2014witnessed enthusiastic participation from numerous engineering and polytechnic institutions, including institutions associated with the Techno India Group network known for advancing innovation-driven education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first round of the competition was conducted on 09 November 2025 at Dumka Engineering College, where external evaluators assessed a series of innovative project ideas presented by student teams, and based on their performance, five teams from the institute were shortlisted for the next stage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second round, held at BIT Sindri on 19 November 2025, attracted 101 teams from institutions across the state, and following rigorous evaluation, only 30 teams advanced to the final round\u2014among them the promising first-year team from Dumka Engineering College, \u201cECOVIRS.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand finale took place on 28 November 2025 at the Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi, where Team ECOVIRS earned an impressive Grade-B and secured a project grant of \u20b950,000, marking a significant accomplishment for the institution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also noteworthy that a total of\u00a0101 teams<\/strong>\u00a0from various Engineering and Polytechnic institutions across Jharkhand were shortlisted for the second round competition at BIT Sindri, among which Team\u00a0ECOVIRS<\/strong>\u00a0achieved the\u00a07th position in the final round.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
