Ramgarh Engineering College<\/a><\/strong>, a part of Techno India Group, marked an inspiring beginning to its Six-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled \u201cClimate and Energy: Innovations for a Sustainable Society.\u201d<\/strong> Sponsored by the AICTE <\/a>Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy<\/strong>, the programme, scheduled from 17th to 22nd November 2025<\/strong>, aims to empower faculty members with advanced knowledge in sustainable energy, climate innovation, and environmental engineering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FDP is supported by distinguished leadership, with Prof. Dr. D.K. Singh<\/a>, Vice Chancellor of Jharkhand University of Technology<\/strong>, serving as Chief Patron and Dr. Mohit Chatterjee<\/a>, Vice Chairman of Techno India Group<\/strong>, as Patron. The Advisory Committee features eminent academic leaders including Prof. Dr. Pankaj Rai<\/strong>, Dr. Sudipta Chakraborty<\/a><\/strong>, Dr. Bishnu Chattopadhyay<\/strong>, and Dr. Sharbani Roy<\/strong>, Principal of REC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme is led by Coordinator Dr. Nazmul Islam<\/strong> and Co-Coordinator Dr. Ashish Narayan<\/strong>, supported by a dedicated organising team\u2014Mr. Pallab Das, Mrs. Ayani Nandi, Mrs. Komal Kumari, Mr. Arunabha Datta<\/strong>, and Mr. Kamal<\/strong>\u2014whose collective efforts ensured a seamless and academically rich start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural ceremony welcomed faculty, invited experts, and participants from engineering institutes across the country. In her address, Principal Dr. Sharbani Roy<\/strong> praised the organisers for bringing a programme of such high value to the campus. \u201cWith rapid environmental shifts and growing global energy demands, educators must stay aligned with emerging clean technologies. This FDP strengthens our mission of promoting research-driven learning while contributing to India\u2019s sustainability roadmap,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over six days, participants will engage in expert lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive discussions conducted by 13 eminent resource persons<\/strong> from across India and abroad. Key themes include Renewable Energy Systems, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCUS), Hydrogen Energy, Smart Grids, Energy Storage, Environmental Policies, and Climate Change Mitigation<\/strong>. These sessions bridge academic learning with real-world application, allowing participants to explore cutting-edge tools, case studies, and global research trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 118 participants from various states<\/strong> joined the programme, reflecting strong national interest in sustainability-focused professional training.
