Ramgarh, Jharkhand | June 24, 2025:<\/strong> In a strong step towards promoting a healthier and more responsible campus environment, Ramgarh Engineering College<\/a> (REC)<\/strong>, ap part of Techno India Group<\/a><\/strong>, organized a powerful Anti-Drug Awareness Program<\/strong> on June 24, 2025. Held in the college\u2019s main seminar hall, the initiative brought together students, faculty, and law enforcement officers with the shared goal of spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was spearheaded by the college\u2019s Anti-Drug Committee<\/strong>, in collaboration with Rajrappa Police Station<\/strong> and supported by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment<\/strong>, Government of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program began with a warm welcome by the organizing faculty, followed by an opening address from Dr. Sharbani Roy<\/strong>, Principal of REC. She spoke passionately about the need to educate students about the harmful effects of drug use and thanked the police department for their active participation.

\u201cDrugs don\u2019t just destroy individuals\u2014they break families, friendships, and futures. It only takes one wrong decision,\u201d<\/em> he warned, urging students to make informed choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Nazmul Islam<\/strong>, Vice Principal of REC, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the speakers, faculty members, and student volunteers who made the event a success.
\u201cCreating a drug-free campus is a shared responsibility,\u201d<\/em> he said. \u201cWe must all work together\u2014with awareness, empathy, and vigilance.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
